The Denmark School District is seeking a student-focused, Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This position will serve students in grades 1–5 and play an essential role in fostering physical, emotional, and social well-being through engaging lessons and activities

Job Description/Responsibilities: (not limited to this list)
*Work with and collaborate with service providers and teachers to support students
*Assess students
*Write IEPs, Facilitate and Attend IEP meetings
*Plan and Implement instructional lessons
*Provide support and accommodations to students in the classroom and other school settings
*Parent/Staff communication
*Provide guidance/training to staff
*Progress monitor students
*Write and implement Behavioral Intervention Plans for students in need
*Complete Professional Development as directed by building and district administration
*Become trained in NVCI and Youth Mental Health First Aid
*Complete training to be a certified van driver to transport students to field trips if needed
Full time benefits will be offered for this position.
