Role Overview
As a Denodo Developer, you will serve as a technical anchor in designing and implementing sophisticated data virtualization layers that bridge the gap between disparate data sources and business intelligence consumers. You will collaborate closely with data architects, business analysts, and infrastructure teams to streamline data delivery, reduce latency, and ensure a unified view of enterprise data. Your work will directly impact the speed and accuracy of decision-making processes for our clients, enabling them to leverage their data assets with greater agility and reduced operational overhead.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust data virtualization solutions using the Denodo Platform to provide seamless data access across heterogeneous environments.
- Architect complex data models that align with business requirements to ensure data consistency and integrity across the enterprise.
- Optimize query performance and resource utilization by implementing advanced performance tuning techniques within the Denodo environment.
- Integrate diverse data sources, including cloud-based warehouses, legacy databases, and real-time streams, to create a unified data fabric for end-users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues to minimize downtime and maintain high availability of data services for stakeholders.
- Document technical specifications and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain high standards of code quality across the development team.
Required Skillset
- Demonstrated expertise in architecting and deploying solutions on the Denodo Platform with 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in data virtualization.
- Proficiency in advanced data modeling techniques and the ability to translate complex business logic into efficient virtualized data structures.
- Strong analytical skills in performance tuning, including query optimization, caching strategies, and memory management to ensure high-speed data delivery.
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end data integration projects, working effectively with cross-functional teams in a distributed or remote environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical data strategies to non-technical stakeholders and business leaders.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field, reflecting a strong foundation in data engineering principles.
- High degree of adaptability and self-motivation, capable of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, client-focused consulting environment.
