Role Description
The Demi Chef De Partie - Butchery role is a full-time, on-site position based in Salcette, Goa. The role involves assisting the Chef De Partie in portioning, preparing, and presenting meat and poultry items according to the highest culinary standards. Responsibilities include managing daily butchery operations, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, and monitoring inventory levels. The role requires collaboration with the culinary team to ensure consistency and quality in food preparation and presentation.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in meat and poultry preparation, portioning, and butchery techniques
- Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
- Knowledge of various cuts of meat and proper storage methods
- Ability to work in a team, manage time effectively, and ensure high-quality output
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a butchery or meat preparation role
- Culinary certification or relevant training is an advantage
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of service
