Role Description
As a Demi Chef De Partie in the Bakery & Confectionery department, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality bakery and dessert items, ensuring hygiene standards, and assisting the Chef de Partie in kitchen operations. You will help maintain inventory, oversee the quality and presentation of baked goods, and contribute to the planning of new and innovative pastries and desserts. Collaboration with the team to ensure smooth operations is key to this role. This is a full-time, on-site position based at Della Resorts in Mawal.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in baking, pastry preparation, and a solid understanding of confectionery techniques
- Ability to maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and follow food safety protocols
- Capability to efficiently organize tasks, maintain inventory, and ensure quality presentation
- Creativity and innovation in developing new pastry and dessert recipes
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to effectively collaborate within a kitchen environment
- Previous experience in bakery, pastry, or confectionery roles; hospitality industry experience is a plus
- Culinary degree or relevant certification in Baking & Pastry Arts is advantageous
- Passion for creating exceptional bakery and confectionery experiences
