About the role

The Associate Sales Development Representative (SDR) role is an exciting entry-level opportunity to join our fast-paced, high-growth Sales team at Deltek. As an SDR, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging and qualifying new sales opportunities to help drive revenue growth for our organization. In this role, you will: - Prospect and identify new sales opportunities through cold calling, emailing, networking and other prospecting methods - Conduct market research and identify key decision makers within target accounts - Schedule and conduct discovery calls to qualify sales opportunities - Work closely with Account Executives to hand off qualified leads - Participate in training and coaching to continuously improve your sales skills - Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) tools to manage your pipeline and activities - Meet or exceed daily, weekly and monthly sales activity and pipeline goals A successful SDR at Deltek will have: - 0-2 years of sales, customer service or business development experience - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to think critically and solve problems - Proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office suite - Familiarity with B2B software or SaaS industry preferred - Passion for learning, a growth mindset and a competitive drive to succeed We offer a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission, comprehensive benefits, a vibrant and collaborative work culture, and excellent career growth opportunities.
