Staff/ Senior – Pricing and Profitability CoE Description Audit & Assurance Pricing & Profitability Center of Excellence (CoE), Senior The Pricing & Profitability CoE sits within Deloitte's Audit Leadership organization and reports to the Audit CFO and indirectly to the Audit COO. Members of the Pricing & Profitability CoE provide thought leadership, pricing expertise, analytical tools, and data to improve overall Audit & Assurance profitability and promote excellence in account-level pricing practices. Job Responsibilities • Analyzes client engagement financial data, including pricing and forecasted results (EAC), external pricing trends, and other regular and ad hoc reporting • Leads creation of executive-level reports in PPT, Excel, and Tableau • Assists in development of complex financial models, when required, and present results to CoE leadership • Develops expertise using reporting tools and systems, such as CP3 • Assists CoE leadership in creation of project deliverables. Projects are typically high-profile and in support of financial and operational performance improvement and initiatives. • Assists CoE leadership in creation and maintenance of project support materials, such as project plans, tracking documents, meeting notes, and status reports. • Interact with senior leaders across the firm to form and execute analyses, and prepare clear, concise, high quality content Technical Skills • Understands engagement economics, financial accounting (income statements, balance sheets, cash flows) and financial and operational metrics/KPIs (key performance indicators) used by professional services firms. • Proficient in Excel and Tableau for financial analytics and data modeling; and PowerPoint for creation of executive-level presentations. Can effectively use other commonly-used software, such as Word and Outlook, in completion of work. • Vision and critical thinking ability to drive CoE analytics and reporting, ability to challenge the status quo and identify new analytic opportunities • Clear, concise verbal and written communication. • Ability to work on multiple projects, develop timelines, and manage to strict deadlines Other Skills • The ideal candidate must possess a flexible work style and be able to work beyond the normal schedule during peak periods in order to meet deadlines. • Should be able to work effectively, with minimal day-to-day supervision, and within a remote team environment to significantly contribute to the success of the team. • Must possess a client-service mindset and a desire to take on tough and challenging projects. • Outstanding research, analytical, and quantitative aptitude, as well as advanced attention to detail, are required for success in this role. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related subject • CPA Preferred • 2-4 years of experience in an accounting, corporate finance, or operations role, preferably with audit client service experience • Proven record of project execution with minimal guidance
