Senior Cloud FinOps Engineer - Assistant Manager

Role description: - Responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and services to support client workloads and applications - Analyze cloud usage, manage cloud spend, and drive cloud optimization initiatives - Automate cloud cost reporting and forecasting using tools and platforms - Develop and maintain dashboards to provide real-time visibility into cloud usage and costs - Work closely with cloud architects, application teams, and finance teams to drive cloud cost optimization - Participate in defining and implementing cloud governance and security best practices - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team Required skills: - Proficient in cloud cost management and optimization using tools like CloudHealth, Flexera, Cloudability, etc. - Experience in automating cloud cost reporting and forecasting using scripting/programming languages like Python, PowerShell, etc. - Strong understanding of cloud architecture and design principles - Ability to analyze complex cloud usage data and derive actionable insights - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams - Experience in managing cloud spend, identifying cost optimization opportunities, and implementing cost-effective solutions - Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements
