Role: Scrum Master As a Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines in an agile framework. Need-basis consultants will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements. Position Overview: The Scrum Master is a key member of an Agile team, responsible for facilitating the Scrum process, coaching team members in Agile best practices, and ensuring the team's effectiveness in delivering high-quality products. The Scrum Master acts as a servant leader, removing impediments and fostering a collaborative, transparent, and high-performing team environment. Key Responsibilities Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives. Coach Agile Practices: Guide the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to deliver value. Remove Impediments: Actively work to identify and eliminate obstacles that may hinder the team's progress. Support Product Owner: Assist the Product Owner with backlog management, refinement, and ensuring clear communication of goals and priorities. Promote Team Collaboration: Foster open communication, collaboration, and self-organization within the team. Drive Continuous Improvement: Encourage a culture of learning, adaptation, and continuous improvement through regular feedback and process enhancements. Maintain Scrum Artifacts: Ensure transparency by maintaining and sharing Scrum artifacts such as the product backlog, sprint backlog, and burndown charts. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between the team and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and managing expectations. Monitoring: Track and measure progress and quality against Sprint Plan, DoD, Quality, Delivery Flow metrics
