Job DescriptionThe Tax Management Consulting practice at Deloitte provides a range of tax consulting services to help clients address their most complex tax challenges. We work with companies to help them achieve their strategic objectives, improve operational effectiveness, manage risk, and enhance their overall tax function. As a Consultant in Tax Management Consulting, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tax management projects, including:- Tax Transformation: Assisting clients in designing and implementing tax operating models, including process, technology, and organizational changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the tax function.- Tax Technology: Helping clients select, implement, and leverage tax and finance technology solutions to drive process improvements and enable better decision making.- Tax Risk Management: Developing and implementing tax risk management frameworks to help clients identify, assess, and mitigate tax risks.- Tax Compliance Optimization: Streamlining and automating tax compliance processes to improve accuracy, reduce costs, and enhance the client's tax function.You will work closely with clients to understand their unique tax and business challenges, and then leverage Deloitte's depth of knowledge and experience to develop and implement tailored solutions. This will involve a combination of research, analysis, and hands-on project work, often in a team-based environment.Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field- 2-5 years of relevant experience in tax, finance, or consulting- Strong understanding of tax concepts, processes, and technology- Proficient in SAP FICO/MM/SD with direct or indirect tax experience- Hands-on experience in tax technology implementation and process improvement- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills- Ability to work effectively in a team and with clients- Willingness to travel as needed to client sites
