Job Description: Dell Boomi Integration Developer

About the Role
We are onboarding a Boomi Integration Developer to support BAU (Business As Usual) and project activities for our Australia and New Zealand operations. The business operates primarily in waste management, water management, and energy sectors, and relies heavily on Boomi for enterprise application integration across multiple internal and external systems.
The developer will work closely with internal business application teams and external vendors to design, build, and maintain integration processes across platforms including Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, and various SaaS/cloud applications.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Development
Design and develop Boomi integration processes for A2A and B2B scenarios across waste, water, and energy business domains
Build REST and SOAP API-based integrations, including token-based authentication flows (e.g. OAuth2 password grant, access token caching and refresh logic within DPP)
Develop file-based integrations over SFTP/FTP for external partner data exchange
Implement JMS queue-based integrations with Atom Queue as a persistent messaging layer to handle retry and dead-letter scenarios
Handle delta and batch processing for high-volume transactional data (punch data, payroll, billing, invoicing)
Build asynchronous integration patterns — accepting inbound triggers, processing independently, and writing status/error outcomes back to source systems
