Role Description
Position Title: Program
Manager - L&D & Onboarding (India GCC)
Role Summary
The Program Manager - L&D
& Onboarding will be responsible for program managing, implementing, and
enhancing comprehensive learning and onboarding program execution for ACIndia
GCC. This role ensures new employees are effectively integrated into the
organization and equipped with the skills and knowledge to succeed, while
aligning with global standards and local requirements. Strong project
management, stakeholder engagement, strong communication skills and
adaptability is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end program
management for onboarding across multiple business units (engineering,
product, platform, non-tech, and shared services.
Design and enhance frameworks,
templates, and artifacts for onboarding, knowledge transition, and learning,
surveys
Manage requirement gathering,
content creation, visualization, and delivery; maintain knowledge
repositories (e.g., Confluence & others as required); manage new hire
orientation & other onboarding engagement forums , manage HM
engagement forums as needed
Document current processes and
develop/enhance existing transition playbooks for consistency, scalability,
and best practices.
Act as program liaison across
HR, Talent Acquisition, and tech-product teams to ensure a seamless
onboarding experience.
Drive cross-functional
execution, governance, documentation, and reporting/dashboards, communication
across India and global teams, ensuring clarity on timelines, workflows,
dependencies, and outcomes
Validate readiness through
simulations, checklists, and SLA tracking; enable operational maturity and
autonomy.
Define and track KPIs using
data, retrospectives- surveys, and qualitative insights to refine onboarding
quality and efficiency.
Oversee small group PMs on
onboarding track to ensure consistent delivery and scalability.
Champion change management and
positive onboarding experiences.
Coordinate closely with HQ
L&D team, GCC HRBP to ensure compliance with global standards and local
regulations.
Required Qualifications
8-10 years of experience in
project/program management, PMO, or onboarding/L&D roles supporting tech
or digital teams.
Experience in GCC/GBS or
tech-forward organizations, working with engineering and product teams.
Strong familiarity with Agile,
developer environments, and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, Slack,
M365 etc.)
Expertise in documentation
management, process mapping, and operational artifact maintenance.
Hands-on skills in building
presentations, dashboards, and reports; ability to interpret data for program
improvement.
Experience designing or
delivering blended onboarding and learning programs is a plus.
Bachelor s degree required;
technical + HR/OD/ background preferred (e.g., Engineering/B.Tech + MBA).
