Job Title: Delivery Manager – Software & Embedded Solutions
Location: Gandhinagar

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to lead end-to-end execution of software and embedded product development programs. The role requires strong technical understanding of embedded systems and software architecture, combined with delivery governance, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership.
The Delivery Manager will be responsible for ensuring predictable, high-quality, and on-time delivery of complex products involving firmware, embedded systems, cloud/backend platforms, and application software.
Key Responsibilities
1. Program & Delivery Management
- Own end-to-end delivery of software and embedded product programs.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Drive milestone planning across hardware, firmware, and software streams.
- Monitor risks, dependencies, and critical paths; proactively mitigate issues.
- Ensure adherence to product lifecycle processes (PLM, SDLC, Agile, V-model, etc.).
2. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, software, QA, DevOps, UX, and product teams.
- Align cross-functional teams toward common release milestones.
- Manage integration cycles across embedded firmware, applications, and backend systems.
- Facilitate sprint planning, release planning, and program reviews.
3. Stakeholder Management
- Act as primary delivery interface for internal leadership and external customers.
- Provide regular status reporting on scope, timelines, quality, and risks.
- Support RFQs, effort estimations, and delivery commitments.
- Manage change requests and scope control.
4. Technical Oversight
- Understand embedded architecture (RTOS, microcontrollers, communication protocols, device drivers).
- Oversee software development (cloud, web, mobile, APIs, integrations).
- Ensure robust validation strategies (unit testing, system testing, integration testing).
- Drive engineering best practices, CI/CD, version control, and traceability.
5. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, IEC, safety standards where applicable).
- Drive structured review gates and quality audits.
- Ensure documentation completeness and release readiness.
6. Team Leadership
- Mentor project managers, scrum masters, and technical leads.
- Drive accountability, ownership, and execution culture.
- Identify skill gaps and support hiring and onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8–15 years of experience in software and embedded product development.
- 3–7 years of experience in delivery/program management.
- Strong understanding of:
- Embedded systems and firmware development
- Software product lifecycle management
- Agile/Scrum and hybrid development models
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in IoT, industrial automation, smart tools, automotive, or connected devices.
- PMP / Prince2 / Agile certification.
- Exposure to safety-critical or regulated product environments.
- Experience working with global customers and distributed teams.
