Job Title : Delivery Leader -Public Sector
Location: Delhi / NCR

Role & responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic IT Delivery Head to lead large-scale technology delivery engagements for Indian Public Sector clients. The role involves managing end-to-end project delivery, stakeholder engagement, governance, operational excellence, and team leadership across multiple programs and accounts.
The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in handling Government/Public Sector projects, managing large delivery teams, ensuring SLA/KPI compliance, and driving digital transformation initiatives aligned with client expectations and regulatory standards.
Delivery Management
• Lead end-to-end delivery of large IT programs and managed services for Public Sector/Government clients.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual obligations.
• Drive delivery governance, quality assurance, risk management, and operational excellence across engagements.
Client & Stakeholder Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders in Government/Public Sector organizations.
• Act as the primary escalation point for delivery and operational issues.
• Participate in client reviews, governance meetings, and strategic discussions.
• Understand client business priorities and align delivery strategies accordingly.
Program & Team Leadership
• Lead large cross-functional delivery teams including project managers, technical architects, support teams, and vendors.
• Mentor and guide delivery managers and project teams to ensure high performance and collaboration.
• Drive resource planning, workforce optimization, and capability development.
Operational Excellence
• Implement best practices in project management, ITSM, and service delivery.
• Ensure adherence to compliance, security, audit, and regulatory requirements applicable to Government projects.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, automation, and process optimization.
Preferred candidate profile
• Proven leadership experience in running large Public Sector portfolios in India.
• Strong experience in managing complex turnkey IT programs and transformation initiatives.
• Prior experience working in a System Integrator (SI) organization is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of commercial management, contract governance, and portfolio financials.
• Ability to engage and influence senior Government stakeholders and bureaucrats.
• Demonstrated success in managing large teams of 700 to 1500 FTEs.
• Experience handling portfolio revenues of at least USD 50 Million.
• Strong program governance, risk management, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and strategy
