Delivery Manager – RetailPOS ERP (Implementation & Customer Success)
Location: Chennai
Experience: 6–10 Years
Working Days: Monday to Saturday(Alternate Saturdays off)
Role Summary
We are looking for a Delivery Manager – RetailPOS ERP who will own the end-to-end customer delivery lifecycle, from sales handover to successful go-live and support transition.
This is a hands-on role combining implementation execution, team leadership, and process building, suited for someone who can operate in a fast-growing company and scale delivery operations.
You will be directly involved in key implementations, customer escalations, and solutioning, while also building a structured and scalable delivery function.
Key Responsibilities1. Project Ownership (Sales to Go-Live)
- Take complete ownership of projects post sales closure
- Understand scope, commercials, and customer expectations
- Define implementation plans, timelines, and deliverables
- Ensure smooth onboarding and execution of new customers
2. Implementation & Delivery Execution
- Lead end-to-end ERP implementation:
- POS setup & configuration
- Master data migration
- Integration (payments, e-commerce, SAP, etc.)
- UAT & Go-live execution
- Be hands-on in critical implementations and problem-solving
- Identify risks and proactively resolve bottlenecks
- Ensure adherence to timelines and milestones
3. Team Leadership (3–5 Members)
- Manage and mentor a team of:
- Implementation executives
- Support staff
- Trainers
- Allocate tasks and monitor performance
- Conduct regular reviews and improve team efficiency
4. Customer Engagement & Escalation Handling
- Act as primary point of contact for key customers during delivery
- Handle escalations and ensure customer satisfaction
- Conduct periodic reviews with clients
- Align customer expectations with delivery scope
5. Process & System Building
- Define and improve:
- Implementation SOPs
- Go-live checklists
- Support handover processes
- Build a scalable delivery framework as the company grows
- Improve delivery efficiency and reduce turnaround time
6. Support Handover & Stabilization
- Ensure smooth transition from implementation to support team
- Monitor post go-live stabilization
- Ensure SLA adherence and issue resolution
7. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with:
- Sales team (scope clarity & commitments)
- Product/Development team (bug fixes & enhancements)
- Support team (handover & escalations)
Key Skills & CompetenciesDomain Expertise
- Strong understanding of Retail Operations
- POS, Billing, Inventory, Promotions, Pricing
- Experience in Retail ERP / POS implementation
Execution & Leadership
- Ability to manage small teams (3–5 members)
- Strong project ownership mindset
- Ability to handle multiple parallel implementations
Technical Understanding
- Basic understanding of:
- SQL / database concepts
- ERP integrations (preferred)
- Cloud / On-prem deployments
Soft Skills
- Strong communication & client handling skills
- Problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Experience Required
- 6–10 years in ERP / POS implementation or delivery roles
- Prior experience in retail or F&B domain preferred
- Experience in handling multi-location implementations is a plus

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in product-based ERP/POS companies
- Exposure to retail, warehouse, or omni-channel operations
- Strong ownership mindset with hands-on execution ability
- Ability to build processes, not just follow them
- Comfortable using AI/tools to improve productivity
Reporting Structure
- Reports to: CEO / Business Head/CTO
- Team Size: 3–5 members
Additional Requirements
- Fluent in Tamil and English (Hindi is a plus)
- Own smartphone, and two-wheeler
- Willingness to travel for client implementations
