About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Delivery Lead with a strong Data Engineering background to lead and manage end-to-end delivery of data platforms, engineering initiatives, and client engagements. The ideal candidate should have hands-on technical expertise along with strong leadership, stakeholder management, and delivery management capabilities.
The candidate will work closely with engineering teams, clients, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful project execution, delivery excellence, and scalable data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery for Data Engineering initiatives
- Manage engineering teams and ensure timely delivery of projects
- Drive technical discussions, architecture reviews, and solution planning
- Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders for requirement gathering and execution
- Ensure delivery quality, process adherence, and release management
- Monitor project timelines, risks, dependencies, and resource planning
- Mentor engineering teams and provide technical guidance
- Work closely with Data Engineers, Architects, QA, DevOps, and Product teams
- Support hiring, team management, and performance tracking
- Ensure best practices in coding, deployment, scalability, and security
Technical Skills Required
- Strong background in Data Engineering and data platform delivery
- Experience with SQL, Python, ETL/ELT pipelines
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with Data Warehousing and Lakehouse architectures
- Knowledge of Spark, Databricks, Kafka, Airflow, or similar technologies
- Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and deployment workflows
- Experience handling large-scale structured and unstructured data
- Exposure to AI/ML or modern data platforms is an added advantage
- Drive automation using the latest technologies.

- Experience managing offshore/onshore teams
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Ability to drive delivery independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
