Job Description
Strategic Leadership & Governance
- Drive delivery excellence across portfolios with a focus on schedule, quality, productivity, profitability, and risk management.
- Define strategic direction for the testing function, including policies, quality processes, productivity matrices, and long‑term competency development.
- Contribute to organization‑wide strategy, policy formulation, and tactical decision‑making.
Operational Management & Testing Excellence
- Lead mid to large service-oriented teams, driving efficiency, capability building, and adoption of best testing practices.
- Develop and roll out new methods, frameworks, estimation models, and tools for high‑performance testing programs.
- Oversee testing communities, mentor test managers, and troubleshoot complex delivery challenges across units.
Business Growth & Stakeholder Management
- Support new business propositions, bid management, solutioning, and proposal estimation.
- Scale accounts, improve profitability, and ensure a strong customer success agenda.
- Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to address technology, delivery, and testing‑related decisions.
The Successful Applicant
A strong candidate is a seasoned technology and delivery leader with 15+ years in the IT services industry, deep experience in Agile/DevOps-driven transformation, and proven success in managing large, multi‑location teams. They bring domain expertise in Insurance, exceptional stakeholder management capabilities, and a consultative mindset that enables them to influence policies, optimize processes, and uplift testing maturity across the organization. Such a leader balances strategic thinking with execution rigor, ensuring delivery excellence while driving innovation, scalability, and customer value.
