Role Description The Delivery Executive (Railway Food Delivery) at Taste Of Town Restaurant is a full-time, on-site role based in Damoh. The Delivery Executive is responsible for picking up prepared orders from the restaurant, ensuring accurate packaging, and delivering food to railway passengers on time and in a professional manner. Daily tasks include coordinating with kitchen staff, verifying order details, managing delivery schedules, and handling cash or digital payments as required. The role also involves providing courteous customer service, addressing basic queries, and reporting any delivery or order issues to the restaurant management. The Delivery Executive is expected to follow food safety and hygiene standards, maintain delivery records, and support the team during busy service hours.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform reliable Food Delivery and manage Food Service processes efficiently.
- Understanding of Food & Beverage operations, including basic hygiene and handling practices.
- Strong Customer Service skills with a polite, patient, and solution-oriented approach.
- Basic Accounting skills for handling payments, receipts, and simple record-keeping.
- Good knowledge of local railway station routes in Damoh and surrounding areas.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and manage multiple deliveries under time pressure.
- Responsible, punctual, and trustworthy, with attention to order accuracy and safety.
- Minimum secondary school education; prior experience in delivery or food service is an advantage.
- Comfort using mobile phones for calls, messaging, and order coordination; familiarity with digital payment apps is a plus.
