Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Delivery Engineer to manage and deliver end-to-end IT infrastructure and managed service projects. The role involves working across on-premise, private cloud, cyber security and public cloud environments, ensuring successful implementation, optimization, and support of customer solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver and implement IT infrastructure projects including servers, storage, networking, and security
• Manage end-to-end project execution from planning to handover
• Deploy and support:
o Private Cloud (VMware / Hyper-V / HCI)
o Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Handle data centre deployments and migrations
• Implement and support cybersecurity solutions:
o Firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto)
o Endpoint security / EDR
o VPNs and access control
• Perform infrastructure assessments, upgrades, and optimization
• Provide L2/L3 support for managed service customers
• Work closely with clients to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Prepare documentation, reports, and SOPs
• Ensure SLA compliance and service quality
• Coordinate with vendors for service delivery of outsources scope.
Technical Skills Required
Infrastructure
• Windows Server, Linux administration
• Virtualization: VMware / Hyper-V
• Storage & Backup solutions
Networking
• TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing, Switching
• Firewall configuration (Fortinet preferred)
• VPN (Site-to-Site, SSL VPN)
Cloud
• AWS / Azure / GCP (any one or more)
• VM provisioning, networking, IAM, backup
Security
• Endpoint security / EDR
• Basic SOC / monitoring knowledge
• Patch management & vulnerability management
Preferred Skills
• Experience in Managed Services / MSP environment
• Knowledge of:
o Microsoft 365 / Entra ID
o Intune / MDM
o Backup tools (Veeam, Acronis, etc.)
• Basic scripting (PowerShell / Bash)
• ITIL process understanding
Soft Skills
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Good communication and customer handling
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Documentation and reporting skills
Certifications (Preferred, not mandatory)
• AWS / Azure Certifications
• VMware (VCP)
• Fortinet NSE
• Microsoft Certifications
