Role Description The Delivery Driver role at Lamiq is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely loading, transporting, and unloading decorative surface products to dealers, project sites, and depots within the city and surrounding areas. Daily tasks include planning delivery routes, verifying delivery documents, performing basic vehicle inspections, and ensuring products are handled with care to prevent damage. The role involves interacting with customers and warehouse teams, obtaining delivery confirmations, and reporting any issues or delays promptly. The Delivery Driver is expected to follow all safety regulations, maintain a clean and organized vehicle, and support occasional warehouse operations when required.
Qualifications
- Customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Sales abilities, to interact professionally with dealers and site contacts.
- Operational skills such as Forklift Operation and Training experience to safely handle materials and support warehouse processes.
- Experience in fast-paced service environments, including Food & Beverage, demonstrating reliability, time management, and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license appropriate for commercial or light goods vehicles, with a strong record of safe driving.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials, and follow safety procedures and company logistics policies.
- Basic documentation and route planning skills, including reading delivery notes, using navigation tools, and maintaining logs.
- Strong punctuality, integrity, and ability to work collaboratively with warehouse and logistics teams.
- Prior experience in delivery, logistics, or warehouse operations is preferred but not mandatory.
