Delegate Sales Executive - 10 month contract (Potential for extension or perm role)

My client is a global events organisation known for delivering large-scale, high-impact B2B and B2C events across the region. With a strong presence in the market and partnerships across both public and private sectors, the business is known for creating world-class experiences across industries including technology, real estate, cybersecurity, and fintech.
This role will focus on driving delegate sales for high-profile events, particularly within the fintech and cybersecurity sectors.
You will be responsible for generating new business, building strong client relationships, and managing the full sales cycle to ensure revenue targets are achieved.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through outbound sales, networking, and lead generation.
- Conduct high-volume cold calling and follow-ups to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including negotiations and closing deals.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to effectively position event offerings.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity and client interactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, ideally within events, conferences, or training.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.
