Role Description The Delegate Acquisition role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The delegate acquisition specialist identifies, researches, and reaches out to senior professionals and decision-makers who are ideal participants for the company’s curated summits and networking platforms. Daily activities include prospecting through digital channels, managing call and email outreach campaigns, qualifying leads based on event criteria, and maintaining accurate records in CRM tools. The role also involves presenting event value propositions, addressing delegate queries, coordinating confirmations and follow-ups, and collaborating with marketing and operations teams to maximize delegate engagement and event attendance. The position requires consistent performance against acquisition targets while maintaining high standards of professionalism and relationship management.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including professional telephone, email, and virtual meeting etiquette.
- Experience in lead generation, delegate or attendee acquisition, sales, business development, or account management.
- Ability to research and identify relevant prospects using online tools, professional networks, and industry databases.
- Competence with CRM or lead-tracking systems and basic proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations).
- Structured approach to planning outreach campaigns, tracking progress, and meeting individual and team targets.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Prior experience in events, conferences, B2B marketing, or professional networking platforms is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
