Dairy Staff - Hiring summer help at Dairy Barn

Job Description:

Hiring part-time and full-time summer help to assist at the Dairy Barn on campus at Delaware Valley University. This individual will work directly alongside our student staff currently employed at the Diary Barn and assist in the care of dairy animals for day-to-day tasks including but not limited to mixing rations and feeding animals, running a skid loader, milking cows, cleaning stalls and feeding milk to calves. No experience required (we are always willing to train hard workers). 

Applicants should: 

· have flexible availability for AM/PM shifts, during the week and on weekends 

· have reliable transportation and live a reasonable distance from the university (Doylestown, PA)

· be hard-working, and a good team player

· be able to follow instructions with ease and communicate well with others 

· be 18 or older

Pay: $12/hour

Hours: 20-30 hours/week – We have 3 scheduled shifts per day as follows: from 3:45 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., a 2-hour mid-day shift, and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., with the opportunity to work more hours outside of shift times.

Required Clearance: Selected applicants will be responsible for providing the university with a Pennsylvania State Criminal Record Check clearance.
