Delaware North Sportservice is searching for a full-time Party Suite Coordinator to join our team at Busch Stadium in Saint Louis, Missouri. As Party Suite Coordinator, you will lead a team of suite Bartenders and Catering Attendants, ensuring Party Suites are fully staffed and that buffets and bars are game-day ready. Unit Description:
Delaware North operates concessions, premium dining, retail, and restaurants at Busch Stadium, home of the St. Louis Cardinals, and has been the hospitality partner since 1953. Our culinary team creates menu items for all tastes – from ballpark staples and St. Louis classics to fine dining and signature dishes.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the suite staff, including training on company and departmental standards, and providing constructive and corrective feedback as needed
- Analyze and resolve problems with associates, guests, and the operation with the assistance of the Food and Beverage Manager
- Learn and be comfortable with all food and beverage menu items to effectively complete financial transactions and answer guests’ questions
- Maintain a clean, organized, stocked, and safe area. Immediately reports any low inventory, safety, and maintenance issues to the Premium Coordinator
- Complete and assist staff with opening and closing duties as outlined according to departmental standards
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in front-of-house restaurant or foodservice position, in a high volume environment, required
- Previous experience with a POS system
- Excellent guest service skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to direct the work activities of several associates simultaneously and plan ahead
- Good leadership and training skills; ability to teach others as well as delegate tasks
- Basic math skills; ability to accurately account for cash and inventory
- No college degree required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for set-up, service, and clean-up of the suite
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire length of the shift, including walking up and down stairs and lifting as the work duties demand
