Unit Description:
Delaware North operates concessions, suites, catering, premium dining, and retail management at Globe Life Field, home of the Texas Rangers since the park opened in 2020. We manage concession stands at the 40,300-seat stadium with a menu offering classic stadium food options, and an ample supply of vegan options.
Responsibilities:
- Process food orders, manage RSVP lists, create BEOs, finalize contracts, close out events, and create menu signs
- Select, negotiate with, and coordinate food vendors, catering teams, and decorators.
- Oversee venue setups, food service timelines, and breakdown, ensuring adherence to health regulations.
- Respond to inquiries, provide event quotes, and resolve problems promptly.
- Close out event in catering software (e.g., Caterease), create menu signs, calendar requests for events, and work with supervisors/staff/chefs on events.
- Maintaining relationships with clients, staff, kitchen staff, and the Rangers Event Coordinating team.
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years in event planning, catering management, or a culinary role.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and event management software, excellent negotiation, and superior organizational skills.
- Degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours (evenings/weekends) and work well under pressure.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift or carry up to 35 pounds
- Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts
- Possible exposure to loud noise
