Scientist/Engineer - 'C'

Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens for recruitment of Scientist/Engineer - 'C' in the fields of Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Computer Science) and Sciences (Physics, Mathematics) at DRDO. The appointment will be made on the basis of Interview. Persons working in Government Departments/PSUs/Autonomous Bodies should submit their applications through proper channel. The details of post are as under: Post: Scientist/Engineer - 'C' No. of Vacancies: 21 Pay Scale: Level 11 (Rs. 67,700 - 2,08,700/-) in Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. Age Limit: 35 years as on 01.07.2025. Essential Qualification: * Master's Degree in Engineering/Technology (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science) OR Master's Degree in Science (Physics/Mathematics) from a recognized University/Institute. * The candidate should have secured minimum 60% marks in qualifying degree. Desirable Qualification: * PhD degree in the relevant field. * Experience in Research & Development activities in the related field. * Publication in peer reviewed journals. Job Responsibilities: * To take up research and development projects related to the respective field. * To contribute in the design, development and testing of systems/sub-systems for DRDO applications. * To interact with other R&D establishments and user agencies.
