About the role

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following post of Consultant to be filled up on Contract Basis in Centre for Artificial Intelligence & Robotics (CAIR), a laboratory of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Bengaluru: No. of Post: 01 (One) Essential Qualification: - B.E. / B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering or Computer Science & Engineering Desirable Qualification: - M.E. / M.Tech. in the relevant field Age Limit: 65 years Experience: - Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Robotics, and Cyber Security. - Retired officers from the Armed Forces/Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO)/Central Armed Police Forces/ Central Police Organisations (CPOs) or Civilian Government officials from the rank of Deputy Secretary and above are also eligible to apply. Job Responsibilities: - To provide domain expertise and technical guidance for the ongoing R&D activities and projects of CAIR. - To assist the Scientists and Engineers in addressing the technological challenges faced by CAIR. - To assist in planning, monitoring, and execution of CAIR's R&D activities. - To liaise with other DRDO labs and external agencies for technology transfer and collaboration. - Any other tasks assigned by the Director, CAIR. Duration of Contract: Initially for a period of 01 (One) year, extendable up to 03 (Three) years based on performance and requirement. Monthly Remuneration: The monthly remuneration will be decided based on the candidate's last pay drawn and in line with the DRDO guidelines.
