Scientist-'B'

Applications are invited from Indian citizens for the post of Scientist-'B' in the Defence Research and Development Establishment (DRDE), Gwalior, a premier laboratory of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India. The details of the posts are as under: 1. Post: Scientist-'B' 2. Vacancy: 09 (SC-02, ST-01, OBC-03, EWS-01, UR-02) 3. Qualifications: (A) Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech. in any branch of Engineering or M.Sc. in any branch of Science. (B) Subject Specialization: Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Molecular Biology/ Genetics/ Analytical Chemistry/ Organic Chemistry/ Inorganic Chemistry/ Physical Chemistry. 4. Desirable Qualification: Candidates having specialization in handling analytical instruments like HPLC, GC, Mass Spectrometer etc. are desirable. 5. Age Limit: 30 years as on the last date of receipt of application. Age relaxation shall be as per Govt. of India rules. 6. Emoluments: Pay Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC (initial pay of Rs. 56,100/- per month) plus other allowances as applicable. 7. Selection Process: The selection will be done in two stages i.e. Written Test and Interview. 8. Tentative date of Written Test: Will be intimated to the eligible candidates.
