DEFENCE RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT ORGANISATION (DRDO) DEFENCE LABORATORY, JODHPUR (RAJASTHAN) ADVT. NO. CONS/DLRL/2022/01, DATE: 20.05.2022 Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the post of Scientist / Engineer 'B' at Defence Laboratory, Jodhpur (Rajasthan), a laboratory under Aeronautics Cluster of DRDO. The posts are temporary but likely to continue. The details of posts are as follows: Post: Scientist / Engineer 'B' (UR-06, OBC-03, SC-02, ST-01) Total Posts: 12 Pay Scale: Level 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC (Rs. 56,100/- to Rs. 1,77,500/-) Age Limit: 32 years (Relaxation as per Government of India Rules) Essential Qualification: M.Tech / M.E. in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics & Communication Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Aeronautical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute. Desirable Qualification: 1. M.Tech / M.E. with valid GATE score 2. Programming skills in C/C++/Python/Matlab etc. 3. Knowledge of Computer Hardware and Embedded Systems Job Requirements: 1. Design, Development and Testing of Hardware and Software for Embedded Systems 2. Design and Development of Micro-controller and FPGA based systems 3. Maintenance and Up-gradation of Computer Hardware and Software 4. Networking, Installation and Maintenance of Computer Systems and Servers 5. Cyber Security and Information Assurance 6. Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Selection Procedure: The selection will be made on the basis of performance in Written Test and Interview. General Instructions: 1. Applicants should bring all the original certificates and supporting documents at the time of document verification. 2. Applicants are required to register online and upload the duly filled application form along with all supporting documents before the last date. 3. Candidates are required to pay application fee of Rs. 100/- through online mode only. No other mode of payment will be accepted. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD/Women are exempted from application fee. 4. The applicants should ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility conditions as on the closing date of receipt of application. Candidates should submit the undertaking as per Annexure-I at the time of document verification. 5. Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/Government Servants will be as per Government of India rules. The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of online applications. 6. The selected candidates will be posted at Defence Laboratory, Jodhpur (Rajasthan). 7. DRDO employees are exempted from the requirement of application fee.
