Scientist 'B'

Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for the following posts of Scientist 'B' at Defence Research & Development Laboratory (DRDL), Hyderabad. DRDL is a premier Defence R&D Laboratory under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India engaged in design, development and production engineering of strategic missiles, underwater weapons and other high technology systems. The laboratory provides excellent opportunities to work on challenging and state-of-the-art technologies.Qualifications & Experience: First Class M. Tech/M.E. or equivalent Degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized University/Institute. Candidates with Ph.D. in the relevant discipline from a recognized University/Institute will be preferred. Upper Age Limit: 32 years as on the closing date of receipt of application. Age relaxation as per Government of India rules. Tenure of appointment: Initial appointment will be for a period of 5 years on contract basis. The contract may be extended further based on the performance and requirements. Emoluments: Pay Level-10 (Rs. 56,100-177,500) in 7th CPC pay matrix. In addition, the candidates will be eligible for Dearness Allowance, Transport Allowance, House Rent Allowance, LTC, Medical Facilities and other applicable allowances as per rules in force from time to time.
