We’re Hiring | Defence Liaison & Sales Representative

Role SummaryWe are looking for a strategically driven Defence Liaison & Sales professional to lead business development within the Indian defence ecosystem.
In this role, you will act as the critical bridge between defence stakeholders and our engineering capabilities, driving high-value opportunities, strengthening key relationships, and contributing to our expansion in the defence sector.
Success in this role means building strong defence networks, converting strategic opportunities into business, and positioning the organization as a trusted partner in mission-critical applications.
This role plays a key part in our long-term growth strategy aligned with “Make in India” initiatives and expanding our presence in defence manufacturing.
Responsibilities- Build and manage relationships with Indian Army units, DPSUs, and defence organizations
- Liaise with senior stakeholders including Directors, BU Heads, Plant Heads, and Procurement & Quality teams
- Identify, track, and convert defence tenders and business opportunities
- Drive end-to-end sales cycles from lead generation to order closure
- Translate defence requirements into technical and commercial solutions in collaboration with internal teams
- Support product trials, demonstrations, and technical discussions
- Ensure smooth execution including GRN processing, payment follow-ups, and commercial compliance
- Resolve quality and delivery challenges with a proactive, solution-oriented approach
- Represent the organization at defence forums, exhibitions, and key engagements
- Contribute to regional market expansion across Karnataka and Kerala
Qualifications- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration – Preferred
- 8–10 years of experience in defence liaisoning or technical sales
- Strong understanding of defence procurement processes and systems
- Proven experience in tendering, proposal management, and contract execution
- Background working with defence establishments or defence companies
Preferred Profile:
- Ex-Army professionals (Lieutenant / Captain / Major)
- Strong discipline, ownership mindset, and execution focus
Skills- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage complex, high-value sales cycles
- Strong technical understanding of engineering products
- High level of integrity, accountability, and adaptability
Language Requirements- English (Fluent) – Mandatory
- Hindi – Mandatory
- Kannada / Telugu / Tamil / Malayalam – Preferred
