Software Engineer, Research Engineer, Technical Researcher

As a Software Engineer, Research Engineer or Technical Researcher at DeepMind, you'll work at the cutting edge of AI research and development, developing next-generation technologies that could reshape our future. You'll collaborate closely with leading AI scientists and engineers to turn ambitious ideas into working systems, and help drive forward the field of AI in areas like reinforcement learning, deep learning, robotics, and more. Key responsibilities may include: - Developing novel AI systems and algorithms - Building and deploying scalable, high-performance software systems - Tackling complex technical challenges and turning ideas into working prototypes - Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of scientists, engineers, and product managers - Communicating research progress and findings to internal and external stakeholders - Staying up to date with the latest AI research and identifying new avenues for exploration You'll need to be a strong coder with experience building complex software systems, and have a keen interest in AI and a desire to push the boundaries of what's possible. A PhD in a relevant field (e.g. computer science, mathematics, physics, or similar) is desirable but not essential.
