Position Overview:

We are hiring a Regional Warehouse & Logistics Associate to oversee day-to-day operations at one of our warehouse locations while supporting logistics and inventory needs across multiple yards in the region. This is a hands-on, mid-level role where you will coordinate material movement, maintain inventory accuracy, assist staff, and ensure smooth operations at all locations within your region. This position reports to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys operational ownership, working directly with inventory, supporting regional yards, and keeping materials and crews supplied efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse & Yard Operations
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of your primary warehouse and/or yard
  • Act as the primary warehouse and inventory point of contact within your designated region
  • Stage, store, and handle materials safely and efficiently
  • Assist with loading/unloading materials
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Identify and recommend operational improvements to Leadership
  • Logistics & Material Handling
  • Coordinate transfers and deliveries of materials between warehouses and yards at the direction of the Warehouse and Logistics Manager
  • Support all yards within your region to ensure they are properly stocked and operational
  • Ensure materials are available where and when needed to prevent delays
  • Monitor inventory levels at your location and regional yards, working with the Inventory Specialist to maintain stock
  • Schedule and assist with deliveries to warehouses, yards, and field crews
  • Maintain accurate documentation for material movement, deliveries, and transfers. Report all inventory movements to the Warehouse and Logistics Manager and Inventory Specialist
  • Optimize routes and processes to improve efficiency, reduce delays, and support multiple locations
  • Consumables & Supply Management
  • Monitor and maintain stock of operational consumables at your primary location and assist with regional locations
  • Purchase and restock frequently used items such as construction materials, hardware, PPE, tools, and supplies
  • Ensure field crews and warehouse teams have the materials they need to operate effectively
  • Track usage trends and coordinate replenishment with the Warehouse and Logistics Manager
  • Multi-Location & Regional Support
  • Assist the Warehouse & Logistics Manager with cross-location projects and initiatives
  • Conduct site checks or audits at regional yards to ensure standards are maintained
  • Support setup or closure of temporary inventory locations as needed
  • Assisting with Cycle Counting
  • Identify opportunities to improve material flow, warehouse efficiency, and logistics across the region
  • Building & Yard Upkeep
  • Keep the locations clean and organized
  • Maintain yard storage areas and material layout
  • Monitor materials, tools, and equipment for damage
  • Complete basic landscaping and facility upkeep as needed
  • Handle basic maintenance tasks to keep operations running smoothly
  • Report on larger repair needs when necessary
  • Delivery & Travel
  • Regional travel depending on project needs
  • Perform basic vehicle checks before and after trips
  • Represent the company professionally in the field

Skills & Experience

  • Strong organizational and operational skills with high attention to detail
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with inventory management systems (Netsuite preferred)
  • Ability to analyze inventory discrepancies and resolve issues independently
  • Hands-on experience in warehouse operations or material handling
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, projects, and shipments simultaneously across several locations
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-departmentally
  • Forklift and material handling experience preferred
  • Knowledge of construction or fiber materials is a plus

Education and Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • CDL Class A is a major plus and may become a requirement
  • The company will sponsor the correct applicant if necessary
  • DOT Physical Card and/or willingness to obtain one
  • Ability to safely lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
