As an Engineering Manager at DeepL, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing, multi-functional engineering team and driving the development of our groundbreaking machine translation technology. You will work closely with our product and operations teams to ensure that our engineering efforts are closely aligned with our business goals. Your key responsibilities will include: - Providing technical leadership and mentorship to your team of engineers, empowering them to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions - Collaborating with stakeholders to define and prioritize the engineering roadmap, ensuring that we are building the right features and products - Fostering a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging your team to experiment, learn, and grow - Championing engineering best practices and driving adoption of tools and processes that improve efficiency and quality - Participating in the hiring and onboarding of new engineering talent to grow the team - Representing the engineering team and advocating for their needs within the broader organization
