Senior Software Engineer - Data

DeepIntent is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our growing Data Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient data pipelines, data processing workflows, and data infrastructure to support our mission-critical business intelligence and analytics initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement scalable, high-performance data pipelines and data processing workflows using technologies like Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, and modern cloud-based data platforms. - Develop and maintain efficient data transformation and ETL processes to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, analytics, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Ensure data quality, reliability, and security throughout the data lifecycle. - Optimize and tune data processing pipelines for performance and cost-effectiveness. - Participate in architectural and design discussions to drive the evolution of our data platform and infrastructure. - Mentor and guide junior engineers, share knowledge, and contribute to the team's technical growth. Required Skills and Experience: - 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on data engineering and data processing. - Proficient in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and workflows using technologies like Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure). - Expertise in data transformation, ETL, and data modeling techniques. - Solid understanding of data architecture, data warehousing, and database concepts. - Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, containerization, and DevOps practices. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. - Passion for learning, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies, and continuously improving your skills.
