Title: Risk Management Coordinator
Reports to: Director of Risk Management

Required Permits/Licensing/Registration: Cannabis Establishment Agent Card, Valid Driver's License, OSHA 10 Card, Jurisdictional Work Cards
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A
Overview:
The Risk Management Coordinator acts as a central hub for information and manages administrative tasks to support departmental goals.
Essential Functions:
- Regular review of company incident reports for completion and accuracy
- Collection and retention of workers' compensation forms
- Maintenance of various company records and reports
- Submitting department invoices and quotes for approval and payment
- Entering supply order requests
- Data collection from multiple departments (data may be electronic or physical records)
- Vendor communications and scheduling
- Assists with audits and inspections as needed
- Minute taker for safety committee meetings
- Adding and removing approved drivers from the company’s automotive insurance policy
- Creating employee profiles in the company’s web-based training program and assigning required courses by role
- Escalating reported and observed safety, health, or regulatory violations or concerns
- Fulfill assigned responsibilities in line with procedures set forth by all department Standard Operating Procedures and subsequent training
- Other duties as assigned

- Adherence to all industry standards set forth by Local, State, and Federal regulations

- Flexible work schedule required; to include covering a vacant shift and/or facility issues in emergency situations as needed
- Represent the company in a professional manner when interacting with all local community, state, or federal officials
- Observe and maintain all safety procedures and protocols

- Ability to listen well and communicate effectively orally and in writing with various audiences

- Must maintain a high level of discretion, acting as a custodian of confidential information
- Ability to apply appropriate public relations skills in various situations and circumstances and to facilitate change as needed

- Ability to interpret, understand, and comply with complex statutes, ordinances, regulations, standards, and laws
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, management, governmental agencies, community members and the public
- Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications and electronic mail
Requirements
- Potential travel to locations throughout the state of Nevada
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Must pass all required background checks
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry

Minimum Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in administrative or clerical roles (cannabis, medical, or government related positions are preferred)
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered, including internal experience
Working Conditions:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, sitting, bending, twisting, climbing, and other repetitive motions.
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 20 pounds (50 pounds with assistance).
- Must be able to tolerate dusty, strong smelling cannabis odors, and be able to tolerate exposure to the product.
