The Immigration Specialist typically brings 3–5 years of experience in a similar role, with hands-on expertise in researching and preparing visa applications for one or more countries. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end immigration processes, ensuring compliance, and providing support to clients and employees throughout their mobility journey. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, draft, and file immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documents (e.g. work visas, green cards, naturalization paperwork). Collect relevant information and documentation from clients, clearly explain procedural steps, and provide regular updates on case status. Track deadlines, maintain case files, and ensure timely submission of all required documentation. Research immigration laws, policies, and regulations to support case strategy. Communicate with government agencies (e.g. USCIS, NVC, consulates) to follow up on cases and resolve issues. Draft cover letters, affidavits, declarations, and other supporting documents. Coordinate and schedule calls, consultations, and interviews. Ensure and maintain immigration compliance in assigned countries, adhering to relevant laws, operational procedures, and RACI guidelines. Assess right-to-work requirements for Employees of Record (EORs). Handle administrative tasks related to immigration, including preparing and submitting applications to local authorities. Liaise with local providers to complete immigration assessments. Audit, maintain, and update internal and external mobility-related documentation in collaboration with key stakeholders. Provide timely support to EORs and clients for all mobility-related questions via available communication channels. Oversee the entire employment lifecycle for non-national employees, including onboarding and offboarding. Ensure the quality and consistency of mobility operations in assigned countries.
