Role Description The Decor Sales cum Designer role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The role involves meeting prospective clients, understanding their wedding decor requirements, and presenting customized design concepts and proposals. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating decor layouts, selecting materials and themes, collaborating with vendors, and overseeing on-site setup to ensure designs are executed as planned. The individual will actively manage sales activities, follow up on leads, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong client relationships. The role also requires maintaining accurate project documentation, working within budgets and timelines, and contributing creative ideas to enhance the company’s decor portfolio.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
- Proficiency in Interior Design or similar spatial design disciplines to create cohesive, functional, and aesthetic decor layouts.
- Demonstrated Sales skills, including lead management, negotiation, and closing deals in a client-facing environment.
- Experience or strong interest in event or wedding decor design, with the ability to translate themes into detailed design plans.
- Ability to work on-site during planning and event execution, including flexibility for evenings and weekends as required.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational and time-management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of local materials, and decor trends in the Indian wedding industry is an advantage.
- Relevant education or training in design, event management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
