Associate Manager

An Exceptional Associate Manager responsible for the technical implementation of current and future solutions in the Business Intelligence domain. You should be proficient with the design of database architectures, data warehouses, data migrations, data marts, business intelligence packages, and implementing user reporting solutions based upon business requirements with a strong exposure to SQL.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Architect and design DBT data pipelines by effectively utilizing advanced DBT features like Jinja templating, custom hooks, and macros.

• Adhere to DBT best practices for naming conventions, version control, and documentation to ensure maintainability and scalability.

• Optimize pipelines for performance by considering factors such as query optimization, indexing, and data partitioning. ensuring alignment with the organization's data strategy.

• Ensure data quality by implementing comprehensive DBT tests to validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards by implementing appropriate data governance measures and adhering to industry best practices.

• Provide subject matter expert input and advisory role input to client engagements as required – technology and solution advisory, client workshop facilitation and help in overall engagement management.

• Stay up to date with the latest DBT developments and industry trends and contribute to the development of best practices and standards for DBT development within the organization.

• Be a team player and work directly with other development teams and analysts to support our prototype solutions, maintaining flexibility and accountability to keep project progressing

• Always be learning and looking to expand the breadth of your expertise outside your comfort zone because the business is  evolving, and you need to stay current.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• 2-3 years of experience as a DBT Developer.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and DBT, especially in the analytics context.
• In-depth understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehouse concepts.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with data quality and lineage tools.
• Experience with data governance and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Must excel at adapting to unpredictable scenarios, thinking logically and analytically, and learning quickly
• Experience in working with various data sources: Web Services, application API, XML, Relational Databases, Document Oriented NoSQL databases, etc.
• A MS/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field preferred. Additional education in business or statistics a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skills
