About the role

The Technical Program Manager at Decathlon Sports India will oversee multiple e-commerce and software application development projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals. The role demands strong project management skills, expertise in the e-commerce domain, and a proactive approach to stakeholder management and communication. Software Application Development Project Management: Responsible for the success of different projects and supporting the development of project management skills within the Digital PMO team Conduct between 1 and 3 different projects in parallel Lead, coordinate, and execute end-to-end e-commerce projects, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and business objectives Understand the Decathlon Digital organization to conduct project directions and strategic expectations Have functional understanding in E-Commerce Domain, front end (Web and App), and Supply Domains Execute project management responsibilities with good autonomy Adopt and propose improvements for project management best practices designed for Decathlon Digital Demonstrate project management soft skills and elevate the global experience within the Digital PMO team Collaborate and influence Leaders, Program Managers, Product managers, Data or Engineering Managers Identify, listen, and manage project stakeholders' expectations Communicate effectively to lead project governance meetings Participate actively in decision making and the escalation process to conduct project execution Product Scrum Backlog Grooming, Project Planning, and Coordination: Develop and maintain comprehensive scrum backlogs, plan sprints, and oversee execution of software application projects Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project objectives Identify and proactively mitigate potential risks Timeline and Delivery Management: Establish realistic project timelines and ensure adherence to deadlines Monitor project progress and identify areas for improvement Implement best practices to streamline project delivery processes Communication and Reporting: Facilitate regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders Prepare comprehensive reports on project progress, highlighting key milestones and challenges Maintain effective communication channels with team members, vendors, and other stakeholders Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes to uphold the highest standards in project deliverables Conduct regular reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
