Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Debt Capital Market Sales role based in Mumbai. The role involves originating and developing relationships with institutional and corporate clients, understanding their funding and investment requirements, and pitching suitable debt capital market products and solutions. Daily activities include market monitoring, preparation of pitch books and proposals, coordination with trading, research, and investment banking teams, and proactive idea generation for primary and secondary market opportunities. The individual will manage end-to-end sales processes, including client communication, execution support, post-transaction follow-up, and maintenance of accurate sales pipelines and reports. The role also requires adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards while contributing to revenue growth and strengthening TRUST’s market position in Debt Capital Markets.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret market data, credit information, and macroeconomic trends for client recommendations.
- Solid foundation in Finance, including understanding of capital markets, debt instruments, and corporate finance concepts.
- Experience or exposure to Trading environments, with familiarity in bond markets, yield curves, and pricing mechanisms.
- Knowledge of Investments, particularly fixed income products, portfolio needs of institutional investors, and risk-return assessment.
- Background in Financial Services, preferably in capital markets, investment banking, or institutional sales.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex products in a clear, client-focused manner.
- Proven relationship management abilities and a client-centric mindset, with strong negotiation and networking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple mandates, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant academic qualification such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are an advantage.
- High standards of integrity, compliance awareness, and alignment with a long-term, partnership-driven market approach.
