Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Jalandhar for a Dean of Student Welfare. The Dean will oversee the welfare and development of students, providing leadership in areas such as fostering student engagement, ensuring a positive campus environment, and supporting student conduct and counseling programs. Key responsibilities include managing residence life, facilitating leadership opportunities for students, handling student concerns, and collaborating with faculty and staff to promote an inclusive and supportive academic community.
Qualifications
- Experience in Student Conduct and policies to ensure positive disciplinary practices
- Expertise in Student Counseling and the ability to address individual and group concerns effectively
- Strong leadership skills in Residence Life and programming for student residential communities
- Ability to foster Student Leadership and support initiatives that encourage personal and professional student growth
- Proven record of Educational Leadership and building inclusive campus environments
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and other stakeholders
- Master's degree in Education Administration, Student Affairs, or a related field is required; a Doctorate is preferred
- Familiarity with current trends in higher education and student welfare practices
