Role Description
The Dean of the School of Pharmacy at Arunachal University of Studies will oversee the operation, development, and administration of the School of Pharmacy. This full-time, on-site role based in Namsai entails providing academic and strategic leadership, developing curriculum, managing faculty and staff, and promoting research and innovation in the field of pharmacy. The Dean will also be responsible for fostering collaborations with industry partners and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while maintaining a high quality of education and student success.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Pharmaceutical Sciences, including teaching, research, and administrative capabilities in an academic setting
- Proven ability to manage faculty and staff, develop academic programs, and foster a collaborative environment
- Strong leadership, organizational, and strategic planning skills
- Proficiency in implementing regulatory guidelines and maintaining standards of accreditation bodies
- Commitment to innovation, research excellence, and student development
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ph.D. or equivalent qualification in Pharmacy or related discipline
- Experience in working with academic or research collaborations, particularly with the pharmaceutical industry, is an advantage
- Familiarity with the challenges and needs of higher education in diverse and inclusive settings
