Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Dealer Development Head based in Guwahati. The Dealer Development Head will lead key initiatives to establish and manage the dealer network in alignment with the company’s growth strategy. Daily responsibilities will include identifying and onboarding potential dealers, strengthening dealer relationships, ensuring their compliance with company standards, and facilitating dealer training. Additional duties will include market analysis, sales forecasting, and working with cross-functional teams to improve dealer satisfaction and product performance.
Qualifications
- Strong Team Management and Team Leadership skills to oversee and motivate teams effectively.
- Proficiency in Analytical Skills and Research and Development (R&D) to identify market trends and implement innovative dealer solutions.
- Experience in Project Management to ensure timely and efficient execution of dealer development strategies.
- Proven ability to build partnerships and foster productive relationships with external stakeholders, especially dealers.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Previous experience in dealer development, distribution networks, or business expansion is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including negotiation abilities.
- An understanding of construction, agriculture, or off-highway machinery markets is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel across regions to meet with dealers and assess market opportunities.
