The Role
We are looking for a sharp and commercially minded Deal Associate to support live M&A and strategic transaction processes across Southeast Asia.
This role is suited for someone with prior exposure to investment banking, M&A advisory, private equity, corporate development, transaction advisory, or boutique deal work. The candidate should be comfortable supporting founder, buyer, investor, and stakeholder conversations while helping move transactions forward through structured follow-ups, coordination, research, and commercial execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Support live mid-market M&A and strategic transaction processes across Southeast Asia.
* Coordinate with founders, buyers, investors, advisors, and internal teams to maintain deal momentum.
* Assist with buyer/investor outreach, follow-ups, meeting coordination, and commercial discussions.
* Track deal progress, identify blockers, and escalate key issues early.
* Support buyer mapping, transaction positioning, valuation discussions, and deal narratives.
* Prepare deal updates, buyer lists, market research, and transaction materials where required.
* Coordinate due diligence requests, information flow, and communication between relevant parties.
Ideal Candidate
* 2–5 years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, private equity, corporate development, transaction advisory, consulting, or boutique deal advisory.
* Prior exposure to live transactions, buyer/investor conversations, founder interactions, diligence, or transaction coordination.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort speaking to senior stakeholders.
* Commercially aware, structured, and able to understand deal dynamics beyond pure analysis.
* Basic understanding of M&A processes, including buyer outreach, diligence, valuation, negotiation support, and closing coordination.
* Able to work independently in a lean, fast-moving setup with high ownership.
Southeast Asia or cross-border transaction exposure is preferred.
