Job Description
- experience with data governance, data analysis, data quality or data management
- practical experience configuring, administrating, and monitoring Data Governance platforms and respective functionalities such business glossaries, data quality rules, dashboards, policies, search, and data lineage map
- Experience with Industry frameworks, standards (DAMA, DCAM) and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and privacy/policy requirements
- Experience with Data Management tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation, GX, Atlan, DataHub, Informatica) and knowledge of data governance concepts (metadata, taxonomy, lineage, quality)
- Proficiency in at least one software programming language (e.g. Python, R, SQL)
- Experience with developing and implementing Data Management standards, as well as Data Quality and Data Lineage solutions.
- Ability to work within a federated data governance team, to coordinate across multiple business and technology teams, and to communicate across all levels of the organization (including other operating companies)
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, maturity of judgement and comfort with on-demand decision making to resolve problems without delay and/or to seek support when required
- Knowledge of Insurance broker Agency management systems like Sagitta, Benefit point & Applied EPIC is a major plus
- Hands-on Informatica Data Governance platforms, EDC, Data Quality, including executing at least 2 large Data Governance, Data Quality projects from inception to production, working as a technology expert
- Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools and reporting (Power BI)
- In-depth knowledge of data orchestration, data pipelining, ETL/ELT concepts,
- Familiarity with other software suites such as Oracle Financials, Workday, iProc, and Concur
- Educational credentials such as undergraduate/master’s degree in a related discipline as well as certifications such as CDMP (or working towards)
- Exposure and experience with Databricks and Unity Catalogue
- Agile experience and exposure is a plus
