A Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) supports the Chef de Partie in managing a specific kitchen station, ensuring high-quality food preparation, plating, and hygiene standards.
Key responsibilities include cooking, station setup (mise en place), controlling waste, maintaining food safety, and assisting senior chefs in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Station Management: Organizing the assigned kitchen section and ensuring all ingredients are fresh and ready.
- Cooking and Preparation: Preparing and cooking dishes according to recipe standards, quality, and presentation requirements.
- Hygiene and Safety: Maintaining impeccable cleanliness in the workstation and strictly following food safety regulations.
- Inventory Control: Assisting with inventory, stock rotation, and minimizing food waste to control costs.
- Collaboration: Working with the team to ensure smooth service, often supporting Commi I or II staff.
