Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced
DBA Scripting Engineerwith strong expertise in
SAP HANA database administration and automation scripting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing database scripts, automating operational tasks, and supporting database environments using modern automation tools.
This role requires strong proficiency in
SQL scripting, Bash/Shell scripting, and Ansible automation, along with hands-on experience managing
SAP HANA databases in Linux environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database scripts.
- Provide administrative and operational support for SAP HANA databases.
- Write and maintain Shell/Bash scriptsto automate database maintenance and system operations.
- Design and manage Ansible automation playbooksfor deployments and configuration management.
- Convert and migrate existing Bash-based scripts into Ansible automation workflows.
- Perform database monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Ensure compliance with security, operational, and enterprise standards.
- Collaborate with global infrastructure and application teamsto maintain stable database environments.
Required Skills Experience
- 6–9 years of experiencein scripting, automation, and database support roles.
- Strong expertise in SQL scripting and database query optimization.
- Hands-on experience with SAP HANA database administration and support.
- Strong proficiency in Shell/Bash scripting.
- Practical experience in Ansible automation and configuration management.
- Good understanding of Linux/Unix environments.
- Experience working in enterprise or production database environments.
