About The Opportunity

The Production Support Operator is responsible for supporting the operation of the company's production environments, specifically in handling Tax and Trust processing, to ensure the delivery of high-quality operational services. In addition, the Production Support Operator will ensure the timely resolution of issues affecting Client/User processing and identify sources of data transmission problems across the enterprise. This role also focuses on achieving operational efficiencies by streamlining processes and participating in operational special projects.

As part of daily activities, the Production Support Operator must collaborate closely and communicate effectively with both technology and business teams at all levels. The role also involves responding to Customer Service inquiries regarding Payroll production and reports. This position reports directly to the Production Support Manager.

What You’ll Get To Do

  • Monitor production servers remotely and provide support for applications and systems, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution of issues. Ability to manage high volume / workload to ensure service delivery are met.
  • Oversee time-sensitive scheduled jobs using a scheduling application, ensuring the completion of end-to-end processes, including data transmissions.
  • Escalate any issues or errors related to these jobs to Production Analysts.
  • Respond to Salesforce CRM cases/SDE incidents from internal partners promptly and accurately.
  • Correlate critical alerts from monitoring dashboards with data transmission and batch processing incidents, as well as system outages.
  • Promptly resolve all data transmission and payroll processing issues, clearing exception logs in accordance with established service levels. This may include reproducing and/or redelivering file transmissions when necessary.
  • Track and update all incidents in the incident management system, ensuring documentation is thorough, accurate, and meets ticket quality standards.
  • Follow documented department processes and escalation procedures, while understanding and upholding company infrastructure standards to minimize operational risk.
  • Work across multiple platforms, including Salesforce CRM cases, scheduling applications, email inboxes, and various dashboards.

Skills And Experience We Value

  • High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of work, training, and experience.
  • Related computer studies background.
  • Experience working with the following technologies: IBM Sterling Suite, SQL, Java, Windows OS, DOS, Tidal, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, CNET, APPWORX.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to independently resolve routine problems.
