A leading IT services & consulting firm in the Data Integration and Enterprise Analytics sector is hiring an on-site Data Integration specialist in India. Primary Title:
IBM DataStage Developer. This role supports enterprise data warehousing, ETL delivery, and BI pipelines for large-scale transactional and analytics systems.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop and unit-test robust ETL jobs using IBM InfoSphere DataStage to ingest, transform and load data into enterprise data warehouses.
- Collaborate with BI developers, data modelers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable ETL mappings and reusable components.
- Perform performance tuning, debugging and optimization of DataStage jobs and SQL queries to meet SLA targets for batch windows and throughput.
- Manage job scheduling, deployments and environment promotion; troubleshoot production incidents and implement root-cause fixes.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, data lineage artifacts and runbooks; enforce code quality and version control practices.
- Participate in design reviews, cutovers and knowledge-transfer sessions; mentor junior engineers to raise team delivery maturity.

Qualifications: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in DataStage/ETL development within data warehousing projects. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferred. Strong analytical mindset with experience supporting production-critical ETL pipelines.
