At Improva, we’re building systems that make data operations smarter, faster, and more reliable. We’re looking for a DataOps Engineer who can take ownership of critical data infrastructure and ensure smooth, efficient operations.
What You’ll Do
- Manage database backups and restores to ensure data reliability
- Monitor scheduled jobs and workflows to maintain system health
- Handle alert management and proactively resolve issues
- Perform database space management and capacity planning
- Configure and optimize SQL performance for high efficiency
- Ensure stability and uptime of data systems across environments
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in SQL Server / relational databases
- Hands-on experience with backup, restore, and monitoring tools
- Good understanding of performance tuning and query optimization
- Experience in job scheduling and alerting systems
- Familiarity with automation and scripting is a plus
- Experience using AI tools to improve productivity and troubleshooting workflows
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in data operations or similar roles
